some time ago I read an article about Worms Revolution in which they said there will be two DLCs for Worms Revolution on the releasedate.

Is this true?

Can't see DLC being available on release date, by right this should already be in the game, why should they charge extra. DLC should come after release and should be something they have made after release.

It's on release. It's technically not the classic form of DLC when it's available on release date as you said; much rather you are given the choice how much you want to spend on the game and decide what content you want.

The game will be cheap $15 on release, with one DLC it's $20 and with two $25. I suggest you first buy the game and try the DLC for free (considering you are playing online with someone who paid for it). Anyway that's what I'm going to do :p consider me cheap but getting money on Steam is a bit of a pain really and I've only got 18 bucks left.

As with Worms Reloaded, when at least one player in the lobby (or the host only?) has the DLC, the content is made available to everyone.

There are four DLC packs in the works at the moment. These will be released in the months after Worms Revolution has been released, there won't be any available on Day 1.

At the moment Steam users are able to pre-purchase a Season Pass (http://store.steampowered.com/app/2028056/?snr=1_7_suggest__13) for a reduced price, plus a 10% discount for pre-purchasing. This Pass will allow access to 4 DLC packs as and when it is released.

I'll let you know more about the DLC packs nearer to their release dates and also when the content has been finalised :)

Will a season pass hit consoles as well on release? I assume consoles will only get 3 dlc's.
