Hi all. We're trying to learn more about what makes you stop and leave the game when you've been playing. Please answer honestly, and only once per person.

Thanks!
Matt

Reinforcements, man. :(

It can be anything really, but normally I quit when I have used all reinforcements for that moment. I have kind of set myself a goal to get richer and stock up as many weapons as I can for some reason :p

The game feels like a time filler and that's what I'm using it for, playing it for 10 to 30 minutes only. Occassionally it's fun to challenge another friend on Facebook who's currently online but usually we'd just meet to play another non-Facebook (Worms) game.

One of my top suggestions would be to add more challenges or even minigames that are also really challenging at best, to keep singleplayer players motivated.

It's usually a 20 minute session each visit until worms run out.
Also have to leave if time for the bus to work...missed it once, but who cares?

Definitely need more reinforcements! How about adding to the total reinforcements you start out with with each level you gain?... and if you do go this route, add them retroactively to those already leveled up?

After every 10 levels you get a bonus maximum reinforcement (so levels 10-20 you have a maximum of 17, 20-30 a maximum of 18 etc..)

Still should have more total.. how about adding a max reinforcement every 5th level?

Mostly reinforcements, but right now its noobishnes of certain player(s), and lack of online players which causes the game to keeps forcing me to fight that guy...
1th game was close, he had small lead and then at arround 00:33, he started exploiting end game timer by jumping arround an entire attack, till 00:04, when he throwed an granade which steals extra 5 sec's..
OK, i was ****ed, and waited a bit, hoping not to bump on same guy in another random game.. And next game was with someone else, but game after that, back on that guy again...
So in this one i killed 3 of his worms and when i dropped banana on last one, guy just surrendered before it even exploded, which ate my banana for nothing!

Dont want you to think i'm whining or such, this is a free game and everyone can play it its own way, but things (or exploits) like this are really killing gameplay and makes it frustrating and pointless...

I think that it's strange Reinforcement at the first position once they're regenerated after 5 minuts, so you wouldn't need to spend coins or credits to obtain them.

Some good weapons are bought by coins, so you don't need to go for credit weapons all the time..

Coins are so the most important. With coins you can get from average to good weapons, and even reinforcements if you're hurry to battle.

I voted reinforcements, but actually your vote list needs more options. Lack of standard Worms features - wind, super sheep(it should be arrow-controlled,not mouse,it would be too easy that way),rope - have you all forgot what made us love this game? I'p playing Worms since '96 for god's sake, and am playing WWP with my crew since it got out. At least once a WEEK. On an older computer, which we keep just for that.I would gladly pay double for another game like Worms World Party. Now what does that tell you? Does it answer the question why I stopped playing your new products? It is unclear to me why have you changed so much. These facebook worms are, sadly, better than your last few games, and that is because of the restrictions you faced, which is even worse. But I am willing to still give it a chance, because unlike your last game this can be played with a smile.
You should'd stick to old recipe and made the classic worms game. All the elements were at hand, but you didn't. You can still try to ave this by:
-adding wind effect
-adding rope (the oldschool one,not the new-physics-failed rope)
-adding more time to rounds(at least a minute-and that way we won't nag about reinforcement points since match would be longer)
-more offensive weapons, including at least old woman and super sheep

Hey Nemir, glad you are enjoying the game.

In regards to some of the suggestions you have made...

- Wind isn't being added for the foreseeable future. With the game being aimed at social gamers, we've tried to make the game simple to play, hence why there's no wind.
- Rope, Old Woman, Super Sheep...we have plans to add more weapons to the game over time, so stay tuned for more updates about the old favourites! In the meantime, we have some seasonal weapons (currently Winter & Christmas) which are available for a limted time, so be sure to check them out!
-More time to rounds. We will be keeping the main game to 3 minutes, however, we do have some plans which we think you might enjoy. Once again, stay tuned for futher details.

As with all Facebook games, we've got lots of plans for the game and what is in now is only the beginning. We're looking to grow the game over time and with each new update make the game bigger, better and more fun!

Thanks for the feedback, it's always good to hear that the old school Worms fans are enjoying it!

Bob :)

You are doing a fine job T17,I am glad that you manage to be well present here on the forum with your busy schedule fixing and upgrading beta. I AM enjoying your games, and all the critics I write you are based on that love, not on my own stubbornness over the old days. You see, what made me love worms was exactly what they now miss - a full pack of strategy that provided countless different tactics,a game that made you want to be better at it,that made us want to play it and keep getting better. It took half a month of daily exercise for a noob to train in just rope. And when they do-it's like a new world opens. Today's games don't even last that long. I managed to form a crew of sturdy players over the last 15 years under this banner. And oh,the trill when you meet someone who plays worms as good as you or better - priceless. Priceless! Worms are the best game I ever experienced, and every single one of us that actually sat down and tried to play it as best as they could will tell you this. I just think it's wrong to simplify this greatness over a lazy youth that consumes and spits it,and move on(that's the majority of them). Back then, you added a new sensation in my life - a game of Worms with my friends.

I get board with this game because the time runs out so fast. I have to play 3 or 4 games and I never feel like I win even though I always win.

Please make the timer last longer.

I stop play because of stupid people waiting for the time to run out once they pushed a worm of mine in the water.Seriously people you need to fix the time limit

I stopped playing, because I started SWTOR. :D

No, seriously. I haven't stopped playing it completely, but reduced a lot. And yes, SWTOR is the major factor on that, but still playing every now and then. :)

Bu the thing that got me to write this post is that I have four friends, who started the game, but they never got past levels 1-5. Why is that? I haven't really asked them about this, but I think that no matter how much you want this game to be for casual playing, the game isn't very casual from the beginning, because there are all those buy this and buy that tasks and do that and do this and also level restrictions, which may look boring for those players, who would just have nice time fighting with others without pressure to buy more, more and more. At least I remember enjoying this game much less during my "rookie time", but after lvl 13, when most of the necessary unlocks had been, well, unlocked this game came much more enjoyable.

Well, there are almost 25k Likes for this game and if even half of those likers are playing (actively enough), it's more than good, and would suggest that most of the players are happy with the concept. Because when you look into it, it can be that I and my friends, who all have been playing video games since the 90's, are starting to be a wrong generation (ie. too old for this s*it) and can't adapt that well to these "pay some money for everything" kind of things, who knows. :P

If I have the time, I'll usually play until I run out of reinforcements.

It would be nice if this reinforcement idea was removed completely so I can play as much as I want for as long as I want.

Just a thought. :)
