As soon as it passed to my go...he surrendered.

if i can see i've lost and have no way of winning, i usually just get out ye old skipping rope :P

Current favourite seems to be to quit right at the end of the game.

But all this does is robs them of their 170 coins and any possible bonus.

Yeah we used to see it a lot more, before we added the new 1st & 2nd place bonuses and penalties for surrendering players (or even showed a results screen for surrendered battles).

Anyone who still quits is clearly missing the point, and the goodies ;) AND the remaining player gets some reinforcements back (as well as winning coins) depending on how far into the battle they were when the other player quit.

If this still isn't enough, we'll just have think up even more incentives :cool:

I noticed that the dark-sider that quits does not get any bonuses(hence the white flags over the amount) but they still get 170 coins while the winner/non-quitter gets 250. I think those 170 should go to the person who stays in the game. If someone quits early, they deserve nothing in my opinion. The matches are only 3 minutes long! Take it like a man and stay in the game!

Why do we need the surrender at all? I work all game damaging enemies so I can finish them off with a certain weapon for acheivements, but then they just surrender and I don't get the kill.

The Surrender is there so people can leave the match. We don't WANT them too, but the only other option would be to close the browser window. If we don't put that surrender option in, they will be forced to closed the browser and leave the entire game! This, we DEFINITELY do not want!
