Hey guys!

Have any of you done any fan art revolving around the new classes of worms we're using in Worms Revolution?

I'd love to see some if so!

Here's a link (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150776903998476.432569.54059728475&type=3&l=6235023602) to some renders of the classes if anyone wants some inspiration/reference materials :)

Personally I have merely done scribbles so far but I hope I'll have time to do some real fan art soon :)

I'm not sure StepS was able to see your picture, as you linked to it from your own computer, which doesn't work. You need to attach it on the forum when you make a post upload it to ImageShack or similar image hosting website.

worms ita, I love what's going on with that scientist.

I have just bought myself a drawing pad :) was really excited and put in on a test run using MS Paint. Thought I'd share the Scientist image I did because meh. (Actually because I have no decent art program to my hands at all and Paint is about my only option)

Yeah this IS the Scientist. I changed the shape of his head for no reason.

Sorry.

I've tried drawing heavy, keeps coming out like Frankenstein Worm :p and I just can't get the shape of the head right for scientist, but I'll keep trying :D!

By the way awesome work Ita and Thurbo!

EDIT: I've officially nailed down all of the classes, I will be drawing some fan art on the computer soon!

I drew a heavy, he's not quite done as I intend on changing him a bit more and adding him in a picture with all the classes:

Try Inkscape, too. It may look complicated at first but when you learn the basic techniques, it'll work great.

Well, after running into a lot of trouble getting used to the user interface in Gimp I'm not sure if learning how to use all that open source software is worth the investment of time and effort. I'm looking to somehow legally aquire a copy of both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro as I've had the best experiences with these programs overall while I had access to them so I'm saving some money to get them.

On that note, I'm currently a trainee in a print shop and thus being taught how to use Corel Draw, and that program is awesome. However it's mostly based on vectors so it's probably nothing I'd use for fan art. At least I can't imagine vector-based programs to be handy when you want to colour in certain art, such as comic pages, so I really wonder if vectors are commonly used when it comes to colour in handdrawn stuff using the PC.

Not talking about art drawn entirely using the PC, that's a completely different matter.

Dunno anything about the other stuff.

So before I'm going to waste a huge amount of money on a fancy art-oriented program, I was trying a few free ones. I still don't like Gimp.

Here's one of my test runs for Inkscape (http://inkscape.org/download/?lang=en&css=css/base.css). Now you probably assume it's something to do with Worms since I'm going to post it here. You are right!

Sorry there's no action going on so it's a bit bland overall. Nothing but a test run, really. :/

I'm not sure whether the lighting is correct or not. I'll never learn to properly apply shadows to an image. Also, the Scout. Don't know whether I got his shape right... it's all Tom's fault, he made him look way too similar to the Soldier

Friggin' love these drawings. Although the shadowing might use a little work...
