Why is the top of the T double height, while the top of the 7 is not? Did the artist not notice?

It should look more like the attached image. It's just a quick MS Paint job. I copied the part near the top of the 1 and pasted it where it was needed, then used the pencil tool with that grey background color to overwrite some junk. It doesn't look perfect due to some stray shadow pixels and suchlike, but it shows an idea of what I mean.

That looks far more consistent and therefore professional to me.

I just noticed there was another thread for discussion of the new logo. You can merge that one with this if you want. I looked for a logo thread only in "Fan Frenzy" since I figured nobody would care about something like that who wasn't a frenzied fan.

The new logo looks good with the circle included (http://www.team17.com/images/logo/T17Logo.png) (though prefer it on a white background -- as on the T17 Twitter page (https://twitter.com/#!/Team17Ltd) -- compared with the current appearance on Team17's homepage (http://www.team17.com/)).

I like the bar aded to the 7, to conform with the old logo. That said, the new logo (in general) is less legible than it could be. The example below's not a suggestion, but an observation of how it would look without bars.

Funny. When they first released the new logo, I was looking back at the old logos, and the bar over the 7 was what bugged me! It didn't look like it fitted in at all.

So yeah, that's why I support a bar-less 7. And I support a barred T because it does look better.

I'm perfectly willing to say that the italics make it look unbalanced though.

The current version of the logo is fine. It's not as visually interesting as, say, the logo the company were using in 1992 (which also had a circle around it, for those of you with short memories) but it's nice enough.

The bottom part of the 7 doesn't line up with the top part of the 7. This bugs me.
