Hey all,
first off, I couldn't find a sub forum for Worms United / Reinforcements, so I'm abusing the Lounge for this topic.

I have this reoccuring issue with Worms Reinforcements and I wonder if anyone knows what this is and how to fix this. It happened both "back in the days" on a real DOS system (well, Windows 98 SE to be precise) as well in DOSBox. The game works fine until some point in time, when the graphics start to get corrupted. Basically, it looks like the game screen is repeated several times (in the original 320x200 resolution) and is thus far too small to be recognizable. The only solution I've found to solve this issue was to reinstall the game or delete the config file, which also loses all my worm rankings and teams, of course. Is this a common issue and is there a better way rather than deleting the config file?

I vaguely recall having a similar problem back in the day. I've noi dea how I resolved it. Sorry.

Really? Doesn't the config file contain only the team datas? Can't imagine how that's supposed to be the cause of the issue.

At least I think that's how I solved the problem (haven't had it in a while)... And after all it's the only file that is changed by the game on a regular basis, right? And I assume that this file also contains all the other settings available from the options menu (like audio options), so it is possible that it also contains some video mode related data.

My theory right now is that it might be a problem related to SVGA cards, so I've set the machine type in DOSBox to vga instead of the default svga_s3, and so far I've had no problems. But of course I could be wrong there.
