I have managed to update and patch my old copy of WA and it runs OK in Win 7 but after a coupla months (say) it gets a fatal error and has to be reinstalled. Hard to know what goes wrong as it says check Errorlog but there isn't one. Anyone having problems in Win 7?

Where and when does this error occur? Make sure you are not running the game in any compatibility modes.

Well wrong forum or not. I have played about 300 games each time this happens and then get "cannot start" when actually clicking on "Start". the setting up each time works fine. Please help rather than criticise

I don't know why this would happen.. but if you back up your User folder at least when you reinstall you don't lose all your teams, maps, schemes, etc.

The errorlog should be in the main game folder. Usually c:\MicroProse\Worms Armageddon or c:\Team17\Worms Armageddon depending if you have the US or UK version.

This forum is for a different game, Worms 2 Armageddon. The reason people linked you there is because the game developers Cybershadow and Deadcode actively browse and post in that forum and they can help you, especially with diagnosing any errorlog stuff. Nobody browses this forum because Worms 2 Armageddon is buggy and sucks compared to W:A.

Try to be as specific as possible - does the install go bad after you download new graves, schemes, etc? After you install new mods or programs? The game doesn't just go bad on its own as far as I know. With the information you've given it's hard to give you a more definite answer, but maybe someone else can.
