Team17,
Please take out user created weapons from Ranked Matches.
It annoys me hugely when I enter a game and straight away some kid starts calling in airstrikes because he does not have the skill to use thrown weapons.
Ranked should be all about skill so please, please take the weapons out.

I agree with you, or maybe they can add a delay to team weapon and put only 1 team weapon

That is a better solution. I wouldn't take out the team weapon because it's part of the game, but it should be like an air strike where you have 1 per round and it could take till the 4th turn or so before it becomes available.

100% agreed
Team weapon is too powerful. It's like having two additionally sticks of dynamite if you set the parameters correctly, airstrikes are even worse since it's possible to set the blow factor so that it can throw worms right into the water from almost every position of the map.
I completely agree, team weapons shouldn't be allowed in ranked matches. Half for being potentially overpowered, and half because it makes your team weapon... too competitive. If you want to play properly in ranked matches, you can't just use a weapon you find fun, or a nice idea. It has to be an actual weapon, the most powerful you can make it. It's completely against the spirit of Worms.

If they aren't taken out then they need to be limited to ONE EACH per game. People just keep using them one after the other...

oh and one more thing. Please remove telepads from normal and ranked schemes! Give us more strategy and less arcade in normal schemes and more arcade and less strategy in other fun schemes! i love both gamestyles!

I think it's still part of the game. Just limit to 1 and don't unlock it until the 4th round.
I think that they should be removed, just a couple min ago all my worms got a bit... Unlucky, spawned kinda close and surprise surprise airstrike.
Takes no skill at all when you just call in an airstrike or have your bazooka aim itself.

I thought you couldn't make overpowered weapons in the Weapon Factory? I mean yeah you can make an airstrike or homing weapon or something but in return it won't let you put a lot of punch into it.

I love this game... even with some of the glitches or missing content (Hope a patch comes soon).
I have convinced at least 5 friends to purchase it and told them once they break it in they will love it as much as we played Worms Armageddon.

Surely the easiest thing to fix today is taking Team Weapons out of ranked games.
We all know the Team Weapon alone can easily take out 50% to 100% of an entire team of worms (with little to no skill). In 1v1 scenarios whoever goes first generally wins. In 1v1v1v1 scenarios there can be up 12 airstrikes falling from the sky.
I hear people suggesting that the Team Weapon count should be reduced from 2 to 1 with a turn delay similiar to the Air Strike. I agree this would be an improvement, but ideally, we would prefer it not to be a starting weapon at all. It would be more fun if it was accessible only from crate drops in ranked matches. We would also recommend 1 homing missile with a 4 turn delay instead of the Team Weapon.
Do Team17 read this forums?
If so, can you let me know if the above is at all slightly possible?
And lastly, a 2v2 ranked playlist would be great, but I don't know if you have the numbers of active players to make it worthwhile yet.

You dont have to make a weapon at all...The brown sofa is "1 click, 1 kill" when the target worm is outdoors...
In other words, the unique viable combination for a team weapon is a 0 dmg 100 push airstrike one....the rest possible factory weapons are a waste of turn
Well I'd disagree and say it should focus on damage first, then push for the fall damage, giving you ~85 damage if you have it affected by air.
Of course, just a large-scale poison weapon works a lot too.
But either way, it's very easy to make it more effective than a dynamite.

But you are thinking the "pro" way...
if you focus at push you will always get at least 1 kill in your first turn(and most likely in the second turn also) on ranked matches....
if you focus at damage you will get a viable weapon the whole round long but you, most likely, wont be getting insta-kills in the first 2 turns...
With a push-based custom weapon....a 1on1 ranked match makes no sense at all...the player with the push-based weapon will always have the advantage early.....
Of course, if you are a good player, you can counter this kind of weapons...but that does not take out the fact that you have to pay special attention to airstrike-push custom weapons compared to other kinds of custom weapons....
