Hi,

So I go online and create a private game for 3 friends and I and the only option I have is prebuilt maps. How do I randomly generate maps so that we get more of a variety?

Game modes we played were Fort (Homelands) and Deathmatch.

I was able to randomly generate in SP but I do not care for games against AI.

Also I thought that I could save a map I liked and then use it and share it? I went to SP and found a map I liked, saved it and then could not select it online.

the game is great but the menu does not give enough detail into game types ie Standard, Pro, BnG (whatever that is).

On forts you have to create a random map... but you can't see it all you can pick is the theme
homelands its the same
deathmatch you should be able to see the map you are randomly generating

I choose create game, select private slots 3, inv friends, Choose a pre build (because I can't select random and then I start the game and that is the map we get.... No option to generate a random versio nof the chosen theme.

I cannot see anything dude. I do not get what to do and the menu system is a joke with no explanation.

I agree the menu is horrible but anyway
If you click the picture on the right you should be able to scroll all the way to the top
and you will find a separate category with Arabic, desert, medieval, etc.
you can pick one of those
If you do select them it will ask for a seed (except on forts maps and anything to do with forts)

You can only use random maps on Deathmatch and Survivor game types. When you click on the landscape icon, you will get a list of styles you can use for Random maps as well as Pre-Built maps. Just pick one of the Random ones and it'll generate it.

Trust me...... There is no option for random, it only allows pre built to be selected!!

I just went and created a game and there were no options AT ALL!!!! to use random maps.

I have the same question. This game will get very stale if we can only select the very few maps.
