My friend wants to start playing and he patched the game etc, and when he tries to enter WNet he gets "Fatal Error, disconnecting", however when he goes to http://wormnet1.team17.com/ it normally says WormNet1 which is fine.
He also tried ProSnooper (I use it too) and he gets "Joining kary (proxy.worms2d.info:46509)" message when he joins anywhere. Other online games are working fine for him.

check his firewall.

We found what the problem is - his patch failed to install properly.
Though he still can't play because he uses the pirated version with noCD crack.
