So I have been following the threads on this forum for a few months now. Ever since I purchased Worms 2 Armageddon from XBLA I was unable to connect to private and player matches with more then two players at once. Getting the unreachable errors.

Then another friend decided to buy worms a couple weeks ago and he continously got the freezing error when we tried playing any 1v1 mode on any game type.

Now I upgraded to this new patch and told him to do the same thing. We both can play 1v1 and we have no more freezing errors. PROBLEM SOLVED!

However any other people I play (most ranked players) still continue to freeze. I am assuming incompatible patches which may have been the same initial cause of the freezing?

However three people with all open nats, two from Australia and one from Hawaii, we can only connect 2/3 people at one time. We all have the new 4 Mb patch.

Conclusions 3/4 and 4/4 party bug still remains and freezing bug may have been solved if a forced patch download is made not optional.

A third random Australian was able to join our already two team australian party to create a 3/4 but he soon crashed/froze, I did not ask which patch he was on.

What problems has this created/fixed for everyone else?

4 player games on this game via invites is the holy grail.........the world would be a problem free happy complete loving place if this was possible i guess some things are just not suppost to be.......if you get in a party dont check up tilll everybody is in lobby and spend about half an hour ****ing about with custom match trying to find the game (going in in different order seems to help too) then you eventually might get everybody in, just remember if you want to change game type after a few matches you might have to go thru all the **** again! private matches can be bad cos you can only invite.........but player matches means if someone else has one open you cant make one! (banging head on wall is other option if all above fail)

Get the patch: Delete worms/battlepack/cache all in your xbox settings were memory is at. re-install eveything. Your welcome :)

Update: - We had a conference call with Microsoft last night and they were most apologetic over what has happened. They said that the update should be pushed to everyone in the next day or two. Apparantly it was an error at their end that the update was only pushed in a couple of the newer regions.

So it should be safe to say that come Monday morning we should be in a better position to see if there are any remaining problems to look into.

I got this 4mb fix and checked credits for it.

yeah I wish anyone could help me and the hundreds of other people who cant get this game to work.

I join thousands of others with this game wih no problem (of course the freezing most times because no one has the patch yet) But as BillT17 said everyone in 1-2 days and for sure Monday everyone well have this update patch. :)
