Hello!

So my problem is, that i have little lags on my screen while playing worms, doesnt matter if im online or offline.

I dont had this problem with my old Graphics Card (ATI Radeon HD 4870x2)
But now i got a new Graphics Card (ASUS Matrix 5870 Platinum) and since im using it, i have this problem...

I tried different settings in CCC but nothing helped, i installed the latest driver for the graphics card (i tried the ATI/AMD driver and the ASUS driver)

My Worms is up to date too... i searched forum, but didnt find a problem like this.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Disable any power saving features and enable all your video cards performance settings.

There was an issue with ATI 5xxx series gfx that bothered me for a long time (See here (http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=40825)).. but eventually the issue was fixed in a driver update.

Are you sure when installing new drivers the driver versions are actually getting updated?

When trying different drivers I found I had to uninstall them before upgrading.

here is the link to the latest driver:
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonmob_win7-64.aspx

If you're still having the issue, you could try finding older drivers.
I'm currently using CCC 10.10 with no probs at all.

EDIT:
I just upgraded and all seems fine for me.
As franpa said make sure 'ATI Powerplay settings' is set to Maximise Performance:
Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings (for your active plan) > Change advanced power settings > ATI Graphics Power Settings > ATI Powerplay Settings: Maximise Performance.

Hope this helps.

Hey again, sorry that i reply so late.

Thank u for ur answers, i tried different drivers , but the first driver i installed was for 100% the latest, same as on ur link. I enabled all the performace settings i found, now its better, but it still looks like 22 fps or something -.- in all other games its working perfect.

But i dont have this: Control Panel > Power Options > Change plan settings (for your active plan) > Change advanced power settings > ATI Graphics Power Settings > ATI Powerplay Settings: Maximise Performance

Instead of ATI Graphics i just have PCIe there and there i can set power saving to maximum, medium or off.

Is the Powerplay setting in the Catalyst Control Center set to Maximize Performance?

It seems many people are having issues with 2D performance with these gfx cards.

The only solutions I've been able to find involves using 3rd party apps such as MSI Afterburner to increase GPU clock speeds.

I had a look at Afterburner and while I can't actually change the clock speeds (because I have a Mobility card, which btw is the reason I have Powerplay in CCC) you can set a 2D profile, so it'll automatically load settings for 2D applications.

Google: 5870 2D Game for more info.
good luck.

In Afterburner, set the 2D (or power saving clocks) to match the 3D clocks.

Hello!

I fixed it !! :)

The problem was, that i used clone mode (Monitor+TV) so when i just use Monitor OR TV it works fine. Stupid, cuz it works on all other games i tried.

Thx anyways for ur help :)
