hi guys
firstly i have to say, that i'm completely new here and I'm not able to speak english very well ;) .I registeredhere, because i need to get this game to work. ( i'm going for a schooltrip and me and my friends are addicted to this game xD ).

well: i've got a new netbook ( eeepc 1215n) and i wanted to install worms it.
after a few tries i had to see, that it didn't work ( i can't post the error log here, because i have a german os and a german game, too ;) ).
then i deactivied the gma-drivers ( by accident ) and had to plug my netbook to my monitor via hdmi. then i tried the game again and ... it worked O.o.
so i figured out, that the game has a problem with the gma 3150, but i'm not able to get it it work without plugging a 2nd display in the hdmi-port.

so i've got 2 questions: is there any fix known to get worms armageddon to work with the gma 3150 or is it possible to deactivate nvidia optimus and to use the qon2 all the time ?

thanks :T

Worms Armageddon's frontend uses a screen mode of 640×480@8bpp (or 256 colors). Recently, some integrated video driver developers decided not to include that mode in their video drivers, like the gma 3150 driver. We have had several other threads about the same problem.

Here is the troubleshooting FAQ answer to this question. It can provide further details, such as a workaround involving running WA with a WormKit module. (http://worms2d.info/Troubleshooting_FAQ#.22Graphics_subsystem_error_-_Unable_to_set_desired_video_mode.22)

AVGN would say "What were they thinking?!"

I say: There is no reason not to include 640x480 resolution in ANYTHING! It's one of the best resolutions ever in this whole universe!
