Hey...I have problem. I have WA 3.6.31, Win Vista 64-bit.

Sometimes when I minimize and re-enter the game it crashes. It just shows a black screen and I have to stop WA through the task manager.

EDIT: I just looked into the errorlog and i observed that it writes windows xp. I disabled the compatibilty mode...maybe it will run better. Sorry for this thread.

For what do you need the compatibility mode anyways these days?

Before the 3.6.31 update I could only run WA with compatibilty mode, otherwise color glitches would show up.

Tell us if it happens again after compatibility mode was disabled. If not, I'm glad you got it running smoothly. :)

It worked a few months ago....a beta 31 problem?? Compatibility mode doesn't help....

That's right, Compatibility mode works for nothing.
One idea would be to use wkAntiKeyboardHook.dll and press the Windows key or window switching hotkeys to get rid of the game window by minimizing it that way. I personally never had any problems with that!

open Advanced settings - uncheck "Use desktop window" and do not enable such options that you don't need.

The advanced setting solution is the better choice, it works :)
