1) Make an exception for wa.exe in Your firewall.
2) Configure network settings in game (if needed).

Probably You've entered wrong IP address. Go to WhatIsMyIP.com (http://www.whatismyip.com/) and check, if it's the same, as You've entered in WA.

GrO, that's very bad advice. You should never enable "Force IP" or manually edit the "Your I.P. address" field unless you know exactly what it does and why you need it. The things you've mentioned don't even have anything to do with sos896's problem.

Anyway, I've talked with sos896 on WormNET and we've resolved the problem.

I can't connect to any game, if I won't enter my external IP there, so I thought he has the same situation.

"Force IP" feature makes my host using external IP instead of internal (LAN).

W:A will autodetect your external IP address by using the address that the WormNET server sees.

I have set my network settings from my earlier WWP experience, where I could connect to WormNET without any problems. I don't know, if there are any major net-code differences between WWP and WA, but it was the fact: I couldn't connect to any game without specifying my external IP.

I'll restore the whole game to the defaults and try to join/host again, but You know I'm using ProSnooper, so what now with this option:

This is only because you can't connect to WormNET at all. W:A will autodetect your external IP address by using the address that the WormNET server sees.

I see, thanks for explanation then.

EDIT:

BTW how to permanently remove my IP from settings, it always comes back, no matter, if I used ResetRegistryOptions.reg or removed it manually?

It's auto-detected.

It's auto-detected.

That explains everything.

BTW My "Force IP" combinations were caused by earlier problems with ProSnooper, before I've noticed it's Game ID issues fixed in Your latest release.

Your account, your liability.

If it really was your brother. Or if you actually have a brother at all.

[...]unless you know exactly what it does and why you need it.

What does it do and why do I need it? In my IP field there's always random things written and I have the feeling that I can't join a few lobbies unless I enter my own address. I may am most likely wrong though.

"Force IP" overrides the IP address WormNET detects as the origin of your connection. You don't need to use it since WormNET now detects your external IP address correctly.

If you can't join someone's game, it's because they don't have their hosting configured properly. Joining games is unrelated to your hosting configuration. You may notice that you'll always be able to join HostingBuddy because it's configured to host properly, even if there are "random things written" in the network configuration screen's "Your I.P. address" box.

When I was with my previous ISP it added additional stuff instead of just my IP to that box. I assume it's due to some ISP's useing a proxy or something.
