I have read the sticky at the top of the forum and attempted to read the linked FAQs, however the link seems to be down.

I recently got a new connection and whenever I attempt to join a channel in WN I get the error:

"Your WormNET connection has been terminated. Reason: Banned user".

or simply

"Your WormNET connection has been terminated!".

I can use snooper to join games but it's a little inconvenient heh. HALP!

We've had to block several dynamic IP ranges from a certain France ISP (wanadoo.fr) due to repeated abuse coming from said addresses. As far as I know, the ISP has ignored Team17's queries. We're looking for a way to allow other users to connect, but I can't say when that will become possible. For now, I suggest that you contact your ISP and ask them to either take measures against offending users, or allocate you a static IP address (which should be outside the blocked ranges).

Websites and services hosted on the worms2d.info server will be inaccessible for the same reason.

Oh christ, ok...It took me long enough (2 months) just to get this connection, so **** contacting them ever again about anything. I'll probably just use a VPN.
