For PSP it only works on friend matches, really bad.
It was soo funny on Open Warfare 2 with own chat phrases :)

For me, there is no point, where Battle Island is better than Open Warfare 2.

Your custum chat hack didn´t worked, sorry.
I don´t think it´s possible, even if you changed the characters.
The reason is, that every language has it´s own fix chat, so if you changed your "Thats a great game!" to "This sucks!" it always will be "This is a great game!" for all other players.

You can use the customized chat only in friend games, thanks to Team17 for this "Feature"!

Using the chat in friend games is esay, you only press the "R" Trigger button, when you are in the chat menu ;) .
