so im trying to join a game... a map loads... and it loads a random map instead of for example a shopper map...

and if the game starts the whole game crashes because of desynchronisation.

well with both clients joining a game is not possible.

and i did try installing an older version of this game and the problem doesnt occur. but then again the color keeps screwing up so nah ah.

i simply reinstalled the game in a defferent matter. yet i didnt do that with my own cd just to avoid wasting time. i did that with the overpopular so called ''new edition'' and booted with my own cd and updated it and... it worked...
i can now host AND join...

You also went with the worst possible solution to your problem; a pirate copy of the game that comes with a bunch of garbage pre-installed, can't even be updated, and will likely get you banned from this forum. :confused:

But it CAN be updated, it's just it makes it request the disc which he says he has.
