WA boots up, but when i start the game it crashes and errorlog says Land Data Read Error.

What should I do?

It indicates a problem with reading level data from the game CD. Is your CD in good condition?

You can get a 14 day trial of CD Roller (http://www.cdroller.com/), which might be able to make an error-free copy of your disc.

if you own the disc you are allowed to have a backup. how you get the backup is irrelevant. so long as you don't give it away or use it for commercial stuff you should be fine.
