I was very suprised when I started WA, and it was snowing instead of falling stars. :) But in some menus (WA options menu, weapon options menu, game options menu) the snow is black. Is it intended to be black, or just a little bug?

Just to let you know this.

I think that it should be option for that... I wanna turn that snow off because it lags every menu... I didn't saw it black anywhere but that lag is really anoying and I have relatively good PC comparing to what I had before... I wounder how much trouble it represent for people who still have weak PCs.

Anyway why is it lags that much when it's just white dots? It's much simplier then original falling things... And why you didn't asked noone to try to draw snowflakes that will be in same style as original falling sprites?

didn't the slow frontend workaround help you? In 2009 it lagged for me too, but after 3.6.31.0 there is no problem.
Also, playing wa in the safe mode, doesn't slow up the frontend, it just speeds it up.

I never bothered about that, because before this I didn't had any problems with falling sprites... can you explain me something more about that stuff?
