Hi everyone!

I was wondering if it is possible to have WA installed on both my computer's
Hard disk drive (I only have one), and then install it again on my external HDD.

I wish to do this so that I can access the game from almost any PC using my
external HD. Of course, I will also be using my cd-image for it to work.

Have tried uninstalling on main HD, then installing on external, dc'ing external,
then running set-up, but I guess it doesn't work because the registry files still exist. Hopefully you guys know of a way.

Thanks in advance! :)

No, that should work, but you may need to run the installer from the CD explicitly. Alternatively you could just copy the installation directory.

You can use an unofficial installer (like unwain (http://worms2d.info/Automatic_Installer)), or simply copy the installation directory as CyberShadow says.

Oh, cool. Didn't know that simply copying the installation dir would make it work on another PC.
I've tried that before in some other games and they didn't work. Must've done something wrong.
I guess WA will automatically create the registry files upon running the game, then.

Thanks alot!

W:A doesn't require any registry entries to run. Some 3rd-party programs (e.g. team editors) require a registry entry which the W:A installer and Beta installers create.

That makes a lot of sense.

Thank you again! :)
