Hey,

i'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but virtualbox is, in my humble opinion, a good option to play the all-so-beloved wwp on windows 7 systems. except for a minor lag on the rope, it just works (for me)! i've tried everything so far, but this seems the only way here to make it work. of course, you'll need a copy of win xp (or 2k?! might also work).
Gruß, jan

You could just play WA, which, with the latest update, runs in Windows 7 natively. It also has everything WWP has and far more.

Nice WinAmp, by the way.

well, i'll consider switching to WA; i just have to convince my flatmates.
btw, WA better has to run on W7; after all, i would have to deal with steam just for that...

Worms Reloaded uses steam, sir. Not Worms Armageddon.

When I said WA, I meant Worms Armageddon, the good 1999 PC game which is still in active development. I did not mean a bad game like whatever you may be thinking of. I meant a good game.

Lucky those, who run WWP ok on Virtual PC, I have problems with mouse movement ("jumps") and some visual artifacts on screen.

But about WA - WWP. How can be WA better? I thought it is predestor of WWP, so yes, maybe it has better single player, but has it something else? Or do you mean that people, who make those new patches for WA are putting there also some stuff, which was only on WWP previously?

I am asking because I cannot find my WA CD (had bought pack of Worms 2, WA and WWP together), because I always played WWP.
