Hi,
I try to record a Video from Worms Armageddon.
I used different Programms.
First i tried with Hyper Cam (3.0)... With that program i have the best results... But not good enough... So when i record with HyperCam3 i've got sound and i see sth. but everything got the wrong color...
After that i tried Fraps... with Fraps i got also Sound but only black Picture...
At least i tried GameCam, Xfire and WEGame ... but that programmes record nothing...
Can you help me... I play with the actually version (3.6.31.0) and Windows XP (SP3)...
May you know a better programm..

Could be a little OT, but I find it somewhat worrying that the wiki page lacks any advice for capturing and syncing game audio to the movie. Too many people just multiplex their video with a random, completely unrelated audio track, which is both superfluous and annoying.

Windows audio drivers usually have an option to include the main output channels to the recording mix, i.e. "record what you hear". You can then start recording with an audio editor, and playback the replay normally. Synchronizing will still require manual editing, sometimes maybe a little guesswork. And sure, by all means mix in background music or other sfx, but please, if you're going to include audio, make it worth the trouble of hearing it (turning off other music / turning on speakers / putting the headphones on)

What I do is start a Fraps recording right after the loading pie finishes. I take the audio from the resulting Fraps recording, compress it, and apply it to my PNG-sequence video. It's synched perfectly every time because of the delay between the loading pie and the replay actually starting.
