I figured out how to play worms blast's music, without starting the game...

first download this (http://www.christianmanga.com/tbf/sdmp.htm) simple direct music player

I'll use Music1 as our example in this next part.

Go to the worms blast music directory, and locate the music 1 folder.

look for the file called icons1.pjs, copy it somewhere, and rename it to icons1.dls (because icons1 contains all the instruments, so it works as the dls file) once renamed, put it back into the music1 folder.

open the player.

click the dls tab and click 'load custom from file' and select the icons1.dls.

note: you can toggle the default audiopath to stereo only or stereo & reverb (reverb is just stereo with some echoing I personally prefer stereo only)

click the open tab and click any of the .sgt files. The actual music is in the .sgt files labeled as low, med, or high (eg. seg mid-high.sgt). The other ones of course are the item use sound effects or special events (like seg blastmode.sgt)

there you go!, you can now play the WB music at its lowest pace only!

Man, I just love the Main Menu song in this game xD And by listening to the blast mode songs it makes me sad theres no Wormsong in Worms: Reloaded :(

The music is funny if you mix up the dls's
Like if you use icons4 and listen to music in the Music3 folder xD

I've Stereo recorded the Menu song into an M3P file. I'm thinking on uploading it on youtube so people can get the joy of the awesome song, but the quality isn't very good :/

Yea I got the Blast Wormsong for mp3, too :)
By the way, Worms Reloaded plays the WA theme song in the credits menu. That's nothing new though :-/

and while I love the Battle Islands soundtracks, I'm sad there's just a little 7 seconds lasting part of the Wormsong as in Space Oddity :(
I wish Jay could create another great theme music like Bjorn used to do, or at least something bigger like the intro theme in OW2.

lol I have folders on m y computer for some of the sound bits recorded in-game (back before I knew about this) music1 I think is the one with the repetitive mix beats on the low levels, though actually it contains more melody variations than any other track!

also if you want, i could upload an ingame recording of the music, as i use stereo mix for recording.

I also wish he would compose a new full wormsong :confused: I'd sure love to hear a new one.
