Just for the case you didn't notice it yet, Team17 today announced two (out of a total of five for this month) competitions on the Steam Forums. These ones want you to send your ideas about 1.) multiplayer maps (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1469706) and 2.) an idea for a mission (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1473475). Bill declared they will go into a kind of "free DLC" that contains content created by the community (I personally hope they'll add the new MnP maps since I feel sorry for the people who have to look at the black side of user created landscapes :p).

It would be nice if they wanted to include them - but users can always download whatever they need from our site.

The problem is there are a lot of causual gamers that don't know nothing about all the fan sites you can get shoppa, rope race or even your MnP maps from. By "black side" I mean that those people can't see the textures if they haven't got the map (maps are totally black instead)

So including your maps would be nice, or, even better, they could fix this issue thus textures will be given to your guests as well.

I was thinking of doing a fort map. I hope t17 won't reject it because of their error in the game...

TO fix this "black" textureless issue, all they have to do is one simple thing:

Create KEVs and LDSs for every map included. I have asked before and never really got an answer as to why they WOULDN'T do it. Maybe they will now -since they are slowly shifting toward content updates.
