Do you have what it takes to pull of the fastest time on a mission? Post your youtube video here, and challenge your fellow wormers. Let's count the ammount of turns, not the time (theres no smooth way to measure it)

If you use turns instead of time it becomes possible to limit each map to a specific number of turns. All you'd need is a really good person to form a perfect run and it could never be beaten, only equalled.

I saw a few of them, they are quite nice. I'm not sure if they are beatable. To be honest, 90% of the 'missions' are boring to me. I do like the way you beat my solution on mission 18. I posted a comment on it, i was hoping you could link back to my solution like I did to yours.

You are right, they are boring, nevertheless I like finding the fastest solutions for all of them. I like my 2-turn solution of mission 20 best for far. When I figure out how to link to your video, I'll do it right away. :)

It's quite more interesting to look at those WA speedruns - especially because every scenario got an own "story" and uses an own map. Oh and of course the missions are just more interesting since they're trickier.

Thurbo, there is no doubt that W:A and W:WP missions are zillion times more interesting, but that's a different discussion, isn't it? :>

Also, since Deadcode showed us the fastest, tool-assisted way to beat the WA missions (and some crazy humans even quite close), it's rather pointless for the average, non-crazy player to even try beating a record. :D

So it's rather helpful that I'm a crazy non average player myself. By the way most of the tool assisted missions are not from Deadcode, and why are we talking W:A now.

I don't know what your other solution is, but it's possible to do this within 4 turns without the enemy killing itself. Just pass the two mines instead of beating them, then stand on the mine on the right to get up to the last tower.

Yes, that is exactly what I was referring to. Thanks for saving me to try to get that method to work. I found the jumping over the mines part very frustrating. I didn't think of using the last mine as a push, i wanted to place a girder in stead.

I don't think the mines got enough power, and even if so, you'd have a hard time trying to actually push the worm. Pushing doesn't work easily anymore, you know^^

There also is a link in the video. After the worm gets killed, you'll see it.

that's what I thought as well. I am curious on how far the mine can actually push the worm, so im going to try it a few times later when I feel like it....
