Well I updated DirectX and reboot and reinstall worms. still no sound! I really wanna play but it sucks without audio.:(

If they release a game it should work and not produce problems after problems

It's impossible to test on all hardware configurations even with beta testers. Sound has always worked fine for me, I never had to manually update directx but it's likely I already had the latest version since I download all updates from Windows Update.

Well, other games on Steam install DirectX as well as other dependencies (.NET, C,...) when first launching them.
With a good reason obviously.

I feel so sad for the people who can't get the game to work and then think the game sucks :(

And that was added with the latest patch which was supposed to be released yesterday. But somehow Valve forgot to flip the switch. Hope it will be released today.
