Seriously, get rid of the auto deploy for the parachute.
I push the spacebar 1 millisecond after it auto deploys and I fall to my death...
Having jump and backflip bound to the same key is worse. The amount of times I've wanted to backflip and instead it decided that I wanted to jump forward into the water below :S

I messed up a few times before realising that the parachute auto-deploys but now that I'm aware of the fact I don't have a problem. I find it far more convienient than the alternative.

I have had this problem.
Just get used to it.
If you know the parachute has an auto-deploy then why bother pressing space if you don't need it immediately after jumping?

No way to get rid of that,..
It can save your life when you fall off your rope :)
(hit F8 very quick!)
I don't like the way the parachute acts when you seer down an "edgy" ceiling. It can make the chute go off and down you go.

When you know my clanmate Plutonic, it is obvious that you are not playing for the first time. Thus you should know that the parachute always deploys when you are close to receiving fall damage :)
