This game constantly freezes for me, and I've searched everywhere online for a solution and heard nothing in regards to a solution.

The problem:

Game freezes (Drops to 0 FPS) for about 3-5 seconds when:


Click something on the menu
Someone joins the lobby
It's someone's turn
An object spawns in the world (Worms teleporting in, Supplies, Health etc..)
The game is frozen on the Team17 splash logo when the game boots


You get the idea, the game just freezes non-stop.

Solutions tried:


Running the game in 32-bit
Putting the settings on low
Running the game with 1 core
Disabling and unplugging my Saitek keyboard
Disableing and unplugging my mouse
Updating video drivers and DirectX
Verifying game cache integrity
Deleting and reinstalling the game


These are just a few things I can think of on the top of my head.

I really would like to enjoy this game; but the constant freezing is REALLY hampering my experiance with the game. If you have any solutions I would love to hear them. If you are aware of this problem and it requires a patch I would love to know just so I know I'm not wasting my time.
