hello everybody,

this is my first post ever on this forum. im excited for worms reloaded (already pre-ordered!) my last game was worms open warfare 2 and to be honest, i disliked the physics and all but this game seems better (i hope). im a old fan of the series, played first worms and directors cut both on amiga with my older brother when i was a kid. i started playing worms again with open warfare for psp (nostalgia :) ) so i never play worms armagedon and world party unfourtunately :(
i saw a few threads here where people want having more players in the same match. since i only know games with four teams in a game im not sure how this game would feel with more of them and as i see some people think the number is too huge i have a good idea.
as you know old worms games had a tournament mode with a lot more players allowed, why do you not make one for reloaded? with more players and not too many players in one match it maybe please everybody here :) what do you think?

I've never played on tournament mode before, but it'll sound nice to have a competitive mode. (despite the fact that it's a differ subj from the petition you mentioned above.)

I'm not worried much..I'm sure that W:R will change & update a lot,following the huge demand of the forum efforts to make WR as we want it to be,with a hope that everybody will be pleased.

This is a great idea. I wonder how it would work online though, but for offline i'd really like to have it :)

Holy crap, someone actually played the Tournament Mode?!


Yeah, it probably won't happen. Half because it's very superfluous - the same thing can be achieved by just playing multiple matches - and half because you're literally the first person I've heard ever say they've played the Tournament Mode.

The reason other games, like Super Smash Bros, has Tournament Modes is because their matches are very quick, and will be played multiple times, so changing whose playing every time takes up far more... time. It's the difference between 2 minute matches and 20 minute matches.

alright then i can play it in a inofficial tournament mode like you say :)

A Tournament Mode would be fantastic. There are many Steam Groups that have been made already for Worms, they would use it all the time.
