why arent these 'new weapons' in the multiplayer? i haven seen a single one show up in any game mode..

You forgot a few things:

A range of new customization features; new voices and hats.

Additional colour variants of all existing hats

Custom HUDs – ‘light-side’, ‘dark-side’ and ‘fire’

40 new player titles

I find that customisation stuff very important.

if i knew it was just a bunch of cosmetic changes that dont affect the gameplay at all i wouldnt have bought it.

they can at least make a gametype that lets us use the new weapons...

First - That's your problem, I always read descriptions before I buy stuff.

Second - I didn't ever hear of a DLC that did anything more than giving new maps and a few new weapons and missions. You should have expected it. I think for 400 points and much improved personalisation you can't complain though. It's absolutely worth buying.

oh yeah... you can indeed use the new stuff in multiplayer, just not in ranked matches.

u dont even have to have battle pack to use the new weapons =]
