Hey there guys, I installed WWP some minutes ago, but I can't play it... Whenever I start or join a match I can only see a black screen, some worms and some clouds with strange colours
I tried every fix on this forum, but it is always the same thing
I already installed Sp1 patch...
I have Windows XP Sp3, My PC is: 2 GB RAM, Intel Dual Core 2 E4400 @ 2.00 GHz, Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT 1GB VRAM, over than 150 GB of free space on the HDD
Please help me, I don't know what to do :(

Thanks mihai770, I resolved my problem by closing firefox ^^

Another "black screen" solution is to Disable AGP texture acceleration in dxdiag. Works on many older games.

My problem with black screen has been already "killed".

I were looking for patches, but patches weren't the solution for my problem. Problem disapeared after graphic card's driver update, but I thought before WWP is much older game than my graphic card, to have this problem.


My PC:
Windows XP Home Edition + SP3
nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX
Intel Core2 Duo E6420 2,13 MHz
2 GB RAM

Note: Black screen I saw at Worms Armageddon too, but presented solution ended black-screen problem in both of these games (WWP & WA).

i use xp professional sp3
i tried to download demo version of WWP.
i download it fine and install without any problem,,
but when i tried to run this game i got no landscape, only worms ang black background,,

my spec
procie intel core 2 duo
ram 1 gb
vga intel g33/g31 onboard

anyone know what i must do??

Killing explorer process and running the game without it helped me.
