Sup. I wanted to make a thread like this for sometime now. I've had ideas whirling around my head and wanted to post the suggestions for a possible much future patch later on.
Idea #1 - Casual or Ranked Squad/Clan matches (4 individual players on each side)
Note: throwing out random countries to show point.
Ex.
Squad 1:
P1 (US)
P2 (Europe)
P3 (UK)
P4 (South America)
VS.
Squad 2:
P5 (Canada)
P6 (Europe)
P7 (UK)
P8 (Europe)
And to make things interesting, a class can be chosen before starting with a limited supply of weaponry catered to that specific class (if any heavy FPS fans can help me here..) with the usual box drops happening between select intervals.
Examples:
-Soilder - Handgun, Shotgun, 4-5 grenades, 3 mines, Rope
-Support - Parachute, Girders, 3 petrol bomb, grenades, air strike
Yes, I know network coding for such a mode would undoubtedly be a pain, but just throwing this idea out there as a suggestion.
Idea #2 - Utility - Team Shot
This one's for the standard 4-man team mainly, although it can be catered to one's liking offline or otherwise. Also using this will carry a Heavy Risk/Heavy Reward value to it.
--Reward - 2 worms can pursue shots
--Risk - both worms that the player chooses will be skipped a turn.
I'm pretty sure this utility would have some pokes in terms of abuse, maybe used for only certain modes maybe?? It'll be interesting to see some amazing comebacks if it were to be used effectively .
Random Idea: Sticky Bun Bomb / Super Sticky Bun Bomb
I thought of this one sometime ago, but not sure of how it would work. Something along the lines of throwing it and making your worms stay in artillery mode for a turn (s) depending on the version.
Well that's about all for now, hope to here some suggestions from other Worms fans to shoot to Team17 for possible consideration.
