I see them coming out of the body of the gun, not the barrel. but I dont know anything about drawing guns either :P

I never said it was right. I just said if he got rid of the holes it would be less wrong.

Im not sure if this is a Casing or part of the barrel but if it was not there, the casings would appear more like they are coming out of the right place?

That's just what I thought :p However, I'm more interested in how weapons work, what I have to remenber when I draw them, and in "characteristics" in order to exaggerate these (in a way like you'd draw caricatures of humans).

It sounds like you already know the answer. By drawing things from reference you build a mental library of what they look like, and you need to have a good understanding of something before you can exaggerate it. If there is any detail about the gun/vehicle/whatever that you don't understand what it's there for, look it up! Knowing as much as possible about what you are drawing will only make the image more believable, even if it is a cartoon.

I can't really tell though what kind of gun that is. The main part looks like a uzi, but I've never seen one with such an extension before. I don't mind because it looks neat, the only thing that bugs me maybe is that the iron sight is on the extension rather than on the gun part itself. [image link (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_N_cTVegng3A/TPgbkoQK0pI/AAAAAAAAAGg/AANum8K__RI/s1600/ingram.jpg)]. But, because the image is cartoony, I don't mind that you made it up. If the iron sight was further back the worm wouldn't be able to use it. So.. whatever. I mean, it's Worms, who cares? :p

Edit: Another thing though that I noticed just now, the empty shells that are flying out of the gun, it looks like they are flying right into the hole on the front of the gun, OR they might be flying out of that hole and backwards. If you just add another shell below the gun, it will be obvious which way they are flying and that they are passing behind it.

Ok, in fact this wasn't supposed to be submitted. I had another picture to be finished I might post here some time later. It's just that I had to abandon it due to exams and a poster for our school drama group.

It took me a while to see that the hand between the two worms probably belongs to the one on the right because of the way the thumb is pointing, but it could just as well belong to the other one. :p
