I´m 31 years old and had long fights with Sega Mega Drive vs. Super Nintendo in the past.
Sega got the faster processor, Nintendo got more colours...

Hmmm... I bought original Worms and Worms World Party for GameBoy as well thus I had also portable versions and had OW2 for DS first and afterwards for PSP (because I thought PSP version was better... yea, I was wrong :D).
This time I don't see any reasons to buy both versions since, for the portable part, I'll keep the brilliant OW2 ;)

a good decision because you have worms everywhere with PSP and with Wii you will be playing with up to 4 people locally and worms online 4ever
i like wii because a bigger screen, servers will probably never be shut down, and psp servers can be shut down 2 or 3 years after release

Explosions on the PSP version are more WOW2 like while the WiiWare version (according to the trailer) should be more W2:A like

Have yet to do graphics comparison yet, though the Backgrounds look prettier in the Trailer for the Wii Version

Well the graphics are obviously way better in the wii version.

What should REALLY be fixed: As you know, the worms' bodies are made in Maya and split in three main parts: tail, body and head. So while in all preview games (from Open Warfare) it was seen as one body, in the PSP version you are able to see their "cuts" (Wii version hasn't got this problem, according to the trailer).

not exactly, as there are games that look better even as wii games(though they are normally super-bad games graphically).Either way, both will have very similar graphics, just the screen will be smaller or bigger depending on your case

No, Team17 made some really bad-looking hashed graphics for the PSP, even with certain graphic bugs, that's why.

Oh, that changes the situation, but what if Team17 maked better graphics for PSP version and they look a lot like Wii, just smaller screen?

You are, for the same reason why the DS players were the winners when THQ shut down the servers for OW2 PSP.

Servers of Nintendo consoles aren't hosted by the publisher/developer. There simply was no server THQ could have shut down back in the days :p
