i m new at here...
i had play w.a since long time ago...
i did not play it since i lost my disk and formatted the pc.
Few day ago then i get search this net on google and now i installed the w.a and oso install the latest update v.3.6.29.0
the w.a file size is around 178 MB before install the updater
i oso have mount the w.a iso file.
I dunno either the iso file i using is full or not...
it is around 547MB.
And after i start the game the color screen become very weird.(i guess u know what i meaning)
I had find out the problem that other people posted.
But i m not really understand what should i do next.

About the wormkit.
i had already downloaded.
i tried copy the .dll file from WormKitModules to my W.A files (7 .dll files)
and i oso tried copy the
HookLib.dll and madCHook.dll
then start the wormkit
it also can start the game but the color problem still occurs.
Is that any missing step for me to do??

ya...i downloaded...it can start...juz the color...=.=...

haha....i can play le...and the color is no problem...juz while playing then sometime will got color mess up...how to fix that while i in the game for half...??

Yes but this glitch he's talking about has nothing to do with the fact it's a pirated copy. I don't know if this would count as promoting piracy but he could just follow my advice and read the stickys to be able to play without inverted colors.

The general rule is pirates don't get tech support here. They can read the stickies by themselves and get help that way, but as soon as they admit to asking for help with a pirated game in a thread, we don't provide them with help.

True, that comment about TryMedia was just a general comment, not relating to this thread in particular.

Well, if it serves any purpose, I've just figured out what this guy is saying:

He downloaded the Ripped pirate WA version that comes already "installed" with a beta patch and all. It comes cracked so installing more recent beta patches causes the pirate not to be able to launch the game since it asks for the cd.
Since this pirate rip comes with a somewhat old beta the Windows 7 support is very sluggish (assumption), so he gets inverted colors and what not.
He then figured out that pirating WA once again by downloading an image instead of the RIP he has placed in c:/team17/worms armageddon.

Not only is he a 100% pirate, but he also managed to admit it in the official forums, pirate the same game twice and ignored the solution to his problem.

I don't think we're talking about W:A New Edition here at all (or any edition that comes pre-cracked).

eleven999 is saying that he had a genuine W:A CD but lost it, so he downloaded an ISO from the Internet. He is unsure on whether he got a "full" ISO, and not a rip or a pirate mod like New Edition, hence the file/CD sizes. His color problems are to be expected; he attempted to work around them by installing WormKit and activating all standard modules that come with it. The mistake he did was that he needs to activate the wkColorFix module (which is not included with WormKit, as it's temporary/experimental) mentioned in the corresponding Troubleshooting FAQ section (http://worms2d.info/Troubleshooting_FAQ#The_game_colours_get_all_messe d_up). He could have avoided the mistake by reading the said FAQ section, as well as the WormKit homepage, more carefully.

Anyway, losing the CD is not an excuse to pirate the game, so see thomasp's post...
