i cant chage the intermediate lvl to any hardless lvl im usin win7 but i had the same problem with vista and xp before im always playing with intermediate i wanna change it -im changing it but when i turn back it retuns to default

The game's designed to do that. You can create your own scheme and save it if you want, but the game is designed to automatically use the Intermediate scheme as the default scheme in any new game.

You want to do a "hotseat Multiplayer game". In there is where you change what scheme you want to play as well as what map you want to play on. The "options" screen is used to "edit" and make new schemes.
