I'm trying to set my friend up for worms, and he installed the game and he installed the 3.6.29 cybershadow beta, but he can't start the game. it says please insert the disk even though he has the disk in. before he updated his game he could play against coms, but after he updated it it says that error. anyone know a quick solution?

I'd say it's likely that he has been a victim of software pirates.

Try having him update his Optical Drives firmware.

Worms Armageddon is a 10-year-old game, there is no interesting copy protection, and therefore no reason why it won't run on a drive even with ancient firmware.

Drives can be laucnhed with shoddy firmware to begin with... hell some drives can't burn a DVD reliably when the drive is first released.
