So, I'm a big fan of Worms Armageddon, and I'm in a college computer technology class with other seniors from high schools around me. We needed a new game to play, and Worms Armageddon it was. I updated to the latest patch for the game, and brought it in on my flash drive. We copied it over to the other computers to play (temporarily, of course. It gets erased once the computer gets shut down), and it doesn't work. I tested it on my PC at home, and network games work, but not for my laptop, which I'm using my flash drive to play with.

Is there any way to fix this problem? I think it has something to do with the registry files for it, but I could be wrong.

Not counting unupdatable editions from TryMedia et al., genuine versions of the game require a CD to play.

or an iso copy of your disc running via cd image mounting. winxpvirtualcdcontrolpanel is your best portable option to do this on a windows machine

What is this tool? I've never heard it before.

I always think Daemon Tools is better than that.

@LastHour:
To make a WA CD image, you should consult this guide (http://worms2d.info/Running_WA_without_the_CD).

Daemon Tools is useless for portability: please, read the thread before commenting.

virtualcontrolpanel is an insanely small portable image mounting tool. it itself does not require an install, but it does need a driver installed on the host pc for it to work. the program itself can manually install and then uninstall the driver without a reboot. it supposedly leaves no trace, its actually a M$ product. its very limited in what formats it can mount, so i wouldnt use it on a personal machine.

i found it while putting together my portable W:A in an xbox controller :P
