This is the level where you (previous to the patch) put a girder in the gap at the bottom of the 'pit' to block the mine, and then use a repel magnet to force the mine down the 'pit'.

I may just be obtuse, but is this level now impossible thanks to the girder distance limitation in the new patch? I am forced to re-do all of the campaign levels (again) since my xbox RROD'ed and I had to switch my hard drive to my replacement xbox, borking my file save. That was irritating enough, but if I can't get past level 18 I'm going to be really ticked off.

Any help? I tried jumping the mine to get down there (using my girder as a bridge) but the flame punch you get only does 30 to the dude at 35. Please tell me I'm dumb and missing something!:p

Sounds like you're getting ahead of yourself. Try placing the girder *after* your first turn, you may be close enough to do it...

You are so right. I wasn't even paying attention to the teleports. My bad - thanks for the advice! :)
