Hi everyone. I am one of the many who are unable to host a game, and I can't figure out why it is. Looking for some help.

I read the entire forum post titled "HowTo: Hosting behind a router" by Keldar located here: http://forum.team17.co.uk/showthread.php?t=16656 , and have done the following:

I've forwarded the ports 17010, 17011, 17012 in my Netgear router admin page. I downloaded the portforward PFPortChecker tool and tested those ports, they are indeed open. I set these up under TCP/UDP. I also have the ports 6667, and 6677 open under TCP/UDP, those are tested and open.

I opened a command prompt and typed ipconfig /all, and found my IP address. I opened regedit and changed the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Team17SoftwareLTD\Worms WorldParty\NetSettings\AddressOverride value to '1', and also changed the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Team17SoftwareLTD\Worms WorldParty\NetSettings\LocalAddress value to my IP address.

I've also disabled my firewall completely, I am using the windows firewall, and have disabled it in the network settings/properties/advanced.

I then launch Worms World Party and try to host, but nobody can connect to me. It keeps timing out.

One thing to add in case it means something, when I go to click on the WormNet UK server, there is a little text above that says "Your IP address is XX.XXX.XXX.XXX" which is NOT my local IP address. Is that normal?

Thanks in advance for any help, just want to play online with my brother who lives a million miles away!
