Hi everyone! ive got a quadcore with W7 (64 bit) & im trying to run WA on it? i get the graphics all messed up is there a solution to this please.? ive installed various patches & still the same.? is it cause the game was not built for 64 bit Os's.?

I get this too, the transitions are gone or the intros just stay there even when supose to be gone till the next intro screen.

It looks like smoothing is on when on game setup for skirmish and colours are not correct.

When in game its terrible like i used to get on vista but at least in vista minimizing the game then restoring the game fixed it but that no longer happens in win 7 64bit.

With the hardware specs mentioned below in my signature and Windows 7 Ultimate x64, CyberShadow's WormKit module called wkColorFix.dll solves the problem to an acceptable level.

For me, killing explorer.exe in Win7 is not as convenient as it used to be in WinXP because I have yet to find a tool that restores the system tray icons ( PS Tray Factory crashes Win7's explorer.exe... too bad, it was a great utility for XP).

So, yay wkColorFix.dll! (or, if you do not play fast paced games that imply using the rope to a great extent, just play W:A on a virtual computer loaded with XP - VMware or Virtualbox are the best for this. You'll find that it is to your advantage, being able to play full screen and minimize without problems).

Skeeter, check palette.log, it's most likely a program other than Explorer. Additionally try closing any background applications (e.g. 7's equivalent of the sidebar).

Hi everybody, sorry to bump this post, but i think it's quite appropriate to my problem.
I have windows seven 64 bits, and i have a probleme which is not in the FAQ (i've read it many times).
I launch the game properly and when i try to create a versus, i've a game crash without crash message. It simply return to the desktop.
I have already install the latest patch, i don't see what's the problem, thanks a lot for your answers.

I play with the latest beta update, and yes my cd is in good condition, i just bought it :/

Please install WormKit (http://worms.thecybershadow.net/wormkit/) and the following WormKit module: 30805
Run the game via WormKit.exe and reproduce the crash. You should get an error message mentioning ERRORLOG.TXT. Find this file and the file CRASH.DMP in your W:A folder, and post them here as attachments.
