I am unable to make progress in the single player. No matter how far I get, and no matter if I use the "Save" option in the menu, my progess in single player DOES NOT save.
I don't know how this game passed Microsoft certification if you can't even save your single player progress.

Have you been moving the game's saved data or your hard drive to another console? If so, this is a known bug and will be fixed in the next update. Unfortunately, there is no workaround at the moment.

If it's still the same console that bought the game then make sure the save and game are on the same media (game and save on HD or game and save on memory card but not mixed). It probably won't help and if it isn't the system that originally purchased the game then you have to wait for an update.

It is not the same console I bought the game on, it is the same account, however.
I did have my account on an MU and the game on the HDD with the save, but I've since changed this so they are both on the HDD and the problem still occurs.
I can't imagine how an error like this slipped by?

Good title, and totally true.
I bought this game on day 1 with excitement, lost everything after I beat the game. No excuse for it, or this wait for a patch. I would take a refund and go without at this point.
It is not the same console I bought the game on, it is the same account, however.

If it is not the same console it was purchased from, then you have to wait for the update or move the game + save back to the console it was originally purchased from.

Ha! No. I've completely deleted the save file and game information twice and cleared my cache and redownloaded it. There is nothing to help this bug until the patch. Nothing. Which does indeed render it unplayable. Unless, of course, you don't mind starting over from scratch and making your worm team anew every time you feel like playing it.

I had my hard drive on a friend's console when I purchased it. It'll work if I go back over and and do that? No, I haven't. Because that is ridiculous.
well, it was an oversight from Team17 that will be fixed in the update. (as already said a couple times)
