This is more of a rant but seriously, 20 games and every time whether I host or join, 20 times I have been on the left on a pirate ship while the other player gets a castle... well 1 time they had a chicken, but still. I spend my first 4 moves digging myself out of the ship while they destroy it and burrow down to safety. I know I know it's all luck of the draw and war isn't fair but C'MON! Can I get a little variety here?!

It has nothing to do with luck. You choose your fort in your team options.

I can't believe this has been posted up for 2 days and no one bothered to tell you. I'm unsure how you missed this obvious fact too.

I find the ship to be a good fort. If you get good spawns, you don't have to blowtorch or anything.

The castle is big, but you've got to blowtorch to make a hole, which can be devastating because you want to attack and not burrow. Also, all of your worms could be spawned on top of the castle.

Damn, thanks xe-cute. I had no clue, either way, I got my 17 wins on it. I can guarantee I'll never be playing Fort again.

I love fort, it's my favourite game mode. reminds me of Gunbound.
