I ve been trying to host but im unable to do it i really do not know why, because now im not using the router and just the modem and i still cannot host at all and my friend says i still have the same ip? and im like wtf, its impossible since im not using the router hwo can i have the same ip as i ve on the router when im just using the modem? i would like to know if anyone can help me.

thanks, i ve already disabled windows firewall so thats not it. However maybe if someone can tell me how to make it work on my router would be nice.. so i do not have to use the modem and i can use the router while playing its an Ethernet router and WI-FI the router is DLINK
