Does anyone actually play this online anymore? Just got the game and its a little dissapointing to see Nobody on to play with.

Well, this game is from 1997.
Over the last few years the population has declined to a handful of people who were actively playing the game.
Depending where on the globe those people reside, you probably have a hard time finding someone to play at a sensible time of the day.
That is, if those last few are still playing at all.

Also, Case's ladder (http://www.casesladder.com/browse.php?game=Worms) is the last remaining league for W2.

Ah I see. Is there any other official servers I can connect to other than the UK one? Or even a popular unnoficial one?

nope, there likely would be more people playing (less tech savvy people) if the game could properly detect a persons IP when the person is using a Router.

worms armageddon has a fairly active community, though, if you want to pick that up. well worth it, IMO.

Yeh I've installed Worms 2, Armegeddon and World Party, no-one is online except for World Party, and it doesn't let you connect to a game on that one :(
