First off, I absoolutely love this game. It's tons of fun when we have a group of people over!
However, there have been a few issues that I've had that I hope can get fixed in a future patch.
- The wind meter and timer should go partially transparent when there is an active worm underneath. In one game, the only way I could get a precise shot was to have my worm in the bottom left and his on the right side of the screen. However, I messed up my shot because I couldn't see the power bar because it was hidden underneath the wind meter.
- The backgrounds are way too distracting. It's very hard to visually tell what sort of landscape is in the foreground because it can be pretty well hidden by the background. Usually what I have to do is move the camera so that I can get a good contrast between background and foreground so that I know I can move my worm safely, or find a place to jump to.
- I've also encountered a glitch where the game would not move on to the next turn. It just sat there with nobody playing (but the game didn't crash or anything). We were forced to quit since there was nothing going on. This is a game breaking bug unfortunately, that I hope can get fixed ASAP. I don't remember any of the circumstances that went into this bug, but I'm hoping you can get some repro steps from someone who's experienced this!
- Before you begin Fort, I would love the option to choose your fort! It's very confusing as it stands on how the style of forts get chosen. I thought I was going to have a Jolly Roger vs Bouncy Castle fort battle, but instead got two Jolly Rogers.
Other than these issues though, I haven't noticed anything much else negative. It's been fantastic, and the singleplayer is excellent!!!
