AlexBond & Plasma do a New Patch with W3D maps for W4, this patch will have own loader and will not replace W4 textures. Textures will load only for W3D map, Here I show you some screenshots by beta version of Loader:

The emitters are still a problem... but I'm pretty sure you can turn them off in the databanks file. You should probably look into that.

Oh, also, my computer broke down, so I won't be able to help you with anything for some time.

No not really, theres nothing in here expect some release dates for new maps....

But the main question is: isn't it possible to play these maps online like in Worms Armageddon where you can let the other players leech it real time? That would be great.....

Nope. As there was no official map editor made, Team17 didn't see the need to introduce online capabilities for custom maps.
Plus, custom maps are rather large in size for T17's relatively small server.

I not think that size of map is more then in WA.
map in WA: ~256kb
map in W4: ~350kb

About idea download map online "if you have not this" was already by k^2 but in there time I working with W3DEditor....

I think I finally figured out how to get map sync working for both W3D and W4. It should be possible to use a unified program to control maps, speech banks, custom flags, custom weapons, tweaks, and just about everything else on both W3D and W4 Mayhem. I will probably need some help on a few things, however....

But this was only idea...

About W4MapLauncher it will work online but users should have same files for game, without it game will crash. This scheme already work in W3D more year, we play on new maps, send it before on MSN or email, restart game and play, this best way what we have.
