1) What exactly happens when you try to start the game?
2) What is the make of your graphics card/chipset? (Find out by pressing start, typing dxdiag and pressing enter, then looking under the "Display" tab).

I have the same problem mentioned above. I have a Dell notebook and my WWP is not working. I have tried everything that is posted in this forum and also every single possible solution that I found at Google and nothing helped. :(

Here the specs:

Dell Vostro 1400
Graphics accelerator: Intel 965 Express Chipset Family
DAC type: internal
Total dedicated memory: 338 mb
My resolution: 1280 x 800

I already updated the drivers for the graphics chispet from the Intel site and it didn't help. I have tried everything as I said. I don't know what else to do, but I don't want to give up either! I want to believe that I will be able to make it run...

Hope you guys can help me. thanks a lot.
Marc

I've read somewhere that it won't work on ay Intel Integrated Chipsets, because of the driver's lack of 2D support, or something like that.

Ok, for those who are trying to run WWP on Dell notebooks with Vista or those who have Intel Chipsets:

I have had (after a long time trying everything) make my WWP run finally. What I did was the following:

(first, check out if your graphic card manufacturer has Windows XP drivers available for your model in specific)

- Delete the drivers of the graphic card that were pre-installed, which were designed for Vista --> Control Panel, System, Device Manager, Display Adapters, then right clic on your graphic card name, and delete.

Then go to the graphic card manufacturer website and find the Win XP drivers for your card and then install them. After that you probably shall have to restart. Do it and then try to run WWP.

That's what has worked out for me and fixed my problem. Hope this will help somebody else as well.

Greetings:)

As I said in the other thread, moan to Intel or switch to W:A, in which I THINK the problem is fixed.
