I've never been able to get playing via LAN working. However, you can play via wormnet within your LAN:

* To play in wormnet but within the LAN, make sure you do not use any IP override tools, including but not limited to the "official" way in WWP.
* Make sure all firewalls, especially at the host end, are either disabled, or, depending on the firewall type. either:
** W:A is allowed to act as a server
** Port 17011 is unblocked
* Log into WormNet with any username and password (not even sure if it asks you for one now) on all computers. Go into any channel, then host a game with one of them. Make the other people in the LAN do the same but join your game by double-clicking it. Note that nobody outside your LAN will be able to join your game.
* Play!

If you ever want to play against people not in your LAN, there are some tutorials to do so, but I don't believe it's possible to do a mixture of in-LAN and out of LAN.

~You will need patch 1.01 for this~

Well, if you want to play LAN-only, all you gotta do is download an older version of hamachi, 0.9.9.9 (i got this one, works fine...) or 0.9.9.8.
Make a room in hamachi, get all your friends in there, start up worms and go wait in the lobby until your friends join!:cool: (Also all your friends will need the same hamachi and WWP 1.01 patch)

For playing on Wormnet you've got to make sure your connection setting is on TCP/IP and you have to make sure that you have a Nickname or else it won't work. After that go to Connection on the right of the screen, you'll see on the top left a proxy box and on the top right your ip box, fill your IP in the top-right box, and click language filter off. Test your settings, it should say your IP somewhere at the top. After you got that click on the IP box again and press enter, doing that should save your options and go back to the LAN/Wormnet screen. (check if worms saved your options by going back to Connection once more)

[EDIT] You don't need to screw with your firewall! On or Off it doesn't matter! (Except for the vulnerablility of your computer and some other small things...)

I suppose you could leave the Proxy box empty, anyways this is how my configuration is set:

Enable Firewall Support [x]
Proxy IP = 5.xxx.xxx.xxx (This is your Hamachi IP)
Proxy port = 00000 (i've got automatic port-forwarding so I leave it like this, if you don't have it I can't help you with that...)

And that's it, now you can LAN and go on wormnet! :)

I've also been so nice to put the installer for Hamachi 0.9.9.9 and the link to patch 1.01 below xD

[The hamachi installer is too big to Attach here so i uploaded it on FileFactory]
